Bermondsey consultation
Client : Grosvenor
Agency : Small Back Room, London
Role : Design Director
An immersive interpretation of the new ‘Belong in Bermondsey’ brand was created for the public consultation, hosted inside the remodelled and refitted community hall. A bespoke modular exhibition system was designed and built using scaffolding materials, roughly decorated with a painter’s ‘scuff’ marks in brand colours. The concept suggested that plans for the site were still ‘under construction’ and that all comments, ideas and complaints were welcomed by the consultation team. Exhibition materials were available on a new ‘Belong in Bermondsey’ website which outlined Grosvenor’s plans and provided another opportunity for feedback. On-going digital communications were offered to anyone who wished to sign up for them.
