Law firm specialising in technology and digital media requested a brand update to position themselves as expert, adaptable leaders within sectors renowned for rapid change. Language, the foundation of the legal profession, became the focus of the refresh. A brave new tone of voice challenged common perceptions on how law firms communicate and operate. Honest, confident, witty, engaging… this hardworking copy negates the need for imagery. A good thing, as imagery could date this brand, given technology’s propensity to move forward quickly. The logo underwent a subtle and considered evolution, and its square character was incorporated into the new visual expression.
